When a child stirs with wonder, they’re already cooking up confidence.

At Little Leaf Kids, our Culinary Tutors do more than teach recipes, they nurture creativity, independence, and the joy of discovery through every little hand that learns to mix, pour, and taste.

About Little Leaf Kids & the Leaf & Ladle Kitchen

At Little Leaf Kids, we’re redefining what it means to learn through play.

Our Leaf & Ladle Kitchen is a child-friendly culinary studio where creativity meets nutrition, teaching children the joy of cooking, food safety, and healthy habits from an early age.

We believe food brings families together, builds confidence, and sparks curiosity. This program is a core part of our mission to nurture not just bright minds, but healthy, happy hearts.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for passionate food lovers, chefs, or culinary educators to join us as Culinary Tutor Partners, creative professionals who want to inspire the next generation through hands-on learning and joyful experiences in the kitchen.

This isn’t a traditional instructor role. It’s an opportunity to build your own reputation as a culinary entrepreneur within a supportive brand ecosystem, where your classes, ideas, and teaching style can flourish under the Leaf & Ladle Kitchen name.

As a Culinary Tutor Partner, you will:

  • Lead engaging, age-appropriate cooking sessions for children ages 3yrs–12yrs.

  • Help design class menus and educational activities aligned with our health-first philosophy.

  • Encourage curiosity, safety, and teamwork in the kitchen.

  • Operate under the Little Leaf partnership model, where your creativity and professionalism directly influence your growth and income.

  • Represent Little Leaf Kids with warmth, innovation, and excellence in every interaction with families.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking mature, motivated individuals with a passion for both food and mentorship, someone who can make the kitchen feel like the happiest classroom in the world.

Ideal Qualities & Skills:

  • Strong love for children and patience to teach through guided play.

  • Demonstrated skill or certification in culinary arts, nutrition, or food safety.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Organized, creative, and comfortable managing small group classes.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, eager to design programs, host events, and grow a client base.

  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a commitment to excellence.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience teaching or mentoring youth.

  • Background in nutrition, vegan or plant-based cooking, or baking.

  • Ability to host interactive workshops for families or themed culinary events.

The Vision We Share

Our dream is to make healthy eating fun, creative, and memorable for every child in Barbados.

If you believe food can teach discipline, kindness, and culture, and you want to grow your own culinary influence through a brand that celebrates love and excellence, we’d love to partner with you.
